We went to dirty martini for my 23rd birthday. we ordered the birdcage brunch that should be a mixture of meat and vegetarian items as stated on the menu. I raised this issue wi read moreWe went to dirty martini for my 23rd birthday. we ordered the birdcage brunch that should be a mixture of meat and vegetarian items as stated on the menu. I unknowingly bit into what turned out to be a duck spring roll, despite the menu saying they were vegetable spring rolls. I raised this issue with the manager who offered us another round of drinks on our already bottomless brunch?? We were then also given our two portions of fries for free but I hardly think that makes up for serving me duck after being vegetarian for 23 years. I have made a complaint with the company online but have had no response. The whole experience was shocking and we will not be returning ever again.

Mini Burgers are really nice. Service is decent, there was a bit of a wait time for food despite the restaurant being slight empty. Cocktails are amazing, and they are 2for1 everyday during happy hour, so would go again for that reason.

But when we were trying to ask if there was an alternative table we could sit at he kept interrupting us to repeat "well I'm the manager!". I appreciate some drunk people are probably quite rude in these situations, but he presumed we wanted to argue with him before we had even spoken. Anyway, we went to the Ladybird bar a few feet down the road, where the staff weren't rude and it was lovely.
